Production Design

 

Film production design is a culmination of all of the visual aspects gleaned from a script that is brought forth to  tangible life. Each script has its own style and pulse that is carefully developed to ensure that the director's goals are met to the utmost satisfaction while pushing the aesthetic quality to its highest standard.  This is achieved by carefully managing  the art department starting with designing a color palette, atmosphere. and preliminary set designs.  Then numerous script breakdowns and department budgets are developed, location consultations are set,  and  staff are procured.  I also oversee all set production/dressing, props, scenic, hair and makeup, and costume to ensure quality, direction, safety, budget maintenance, aesthetics and schedule discipline.
